1 Young is “the founder and president of the Gospel Research Foundation, Tulsa, Oklahoma; a founding member of the Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research, and professor of New Testament Studies in the Graduate School of Theology at Oral Roberts University. Young earned M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Judaism and Early Christianity at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel, where he studied for ten years.” He is the author of several books, including The Parables.

Geldenhuys, prior to his death, “was a minister in the Dutch Reformed Church of South Africa, and former Elsie Ballot Scholar at Princeton Theological Seminary and Cambridge University.” He wrote a his commentary on Luke for the New International Commentary of the New Testament.

Bock is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM) and the University of Aberdeen (PhD, New Testament). His commentary on Luke appears in the NIV Application Commentary.

Liefeld is the Distinguished Professor Emeritus of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He wrote a commentary on Luke for the Expositor’s Bible Commentary.
