Sort of.
Life is happening to me and one of the casualties is blogging. Unless and until I can get some important things straightened out, I won’t be doing much writing.
To squelch any rumors, this isn’t a personal issue but a professional one. Marriage, family, and everything else is fine; professionally, I’m reinventing and overhauling myself. The good news is that I’ve got more vision and energy for my practice than I have for some time: I love having the privilege of doing clinical discipleship with people. But the bad news is that it takes a lot of time and energy; consequently, blogging will be taking a holiday for an indefinite period of time. All I can promise is an infrequent post when something compels me to write.
Otherwise, this blog is going to be pretty quiet. I’ll still be stalking other blogs, but writing is far too time consuming if it is done properly.
May God bless you in every phase of your life – take all the time you need. I’ll be checking every so often, though, to see what’s new – I really enjoy your blog!
Blessings,
FoA

I think the problem with blogs, is finding them. I continue to find a new religious blog weekly. I am not aware of a blogroll that has a list of all the blogs. I guess that would be impossible.
I was reading your “Dirt in the Pews” while its true that some blogs are more visited than others, which I think is due to knowing there are there.
Secondly, I like blogs for the current trends in Christianity. I like some different perspective. Not necessary for the Bible lessons, even though that is great as well.
I have just begin blogging in Augutst 2006. For the sole purpose of recording my journey in ministry of forty years. Its not very likly that many will read them, and that is okay. But my family suggested that I do.
Over most of my ministry I have been bi-vocational. Full time secular job and a full time ministry of the word.
There are 144 hours per week, so I like to use as many as I can. Spurgeon died at 58 and my dad at 62, so I want to be wise with my time.
I still think that if you took a few minutes (right, like a sermon in a few minutes) to write a note about your work would be interesting. But you know best/
Maybe you need a ghost writer.
Lord bless,
