I had rather have less number of readers, if what I say is approved by God. I got caught up in the numbers game on my web site, when they began to soar. I caught myself running to the counter site, just to see WHO I was beating, or how high I had climbed on the ladder of importance. God let me see quickly how my numbers could collapse, and I'd have to depend on Him to send me readers! I no longer become obsessed in what the number is on my web site. I have, occasionally, done that on my blog, though, I have to admit. I think we all want people to 'come and read' what we have to say. I have many more hits than comments. And, many people will email rather than commenting on the site. So, until we 'see' the results of who we have influenced, we will never know what impact our blog has had on I.Q. Public. Funny bit, I read an article on Christianity Today that blamed Evangelicalism (basically Dispensationalism) for effecting the US diplomatic policys regarding Israel and thus idly standing by while violence ensues. I thought it was an absurd oversimplification but it's just interesting on how far folk would go to disprove something else. It’s very odd that there’s been quite a bit of those influential blogger posts.
