Well written... but it lacked a theological punch line. Since heaven is guaranteed for the true believer regardless how he lives and N.T. believers are "not literally slaughtered" the teeth of Ezekiel's words have been pulled by your exegesis. Have you considered Hebrews with its seven severe warnings to the Hebrew Christians? Chapter 10 verse 25-33 is perhaps the most telling. Therein is the N.T. application of Ezekiel's insights to those who know Him but do not live for Him. There is much more that could be said, but I would refer you to http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org for further N.T. applications of Ezekiel's scriptures. (P.S.
