The only sermon I ever heard Haddon Robinson preach in person was the sermon from Luke 16 regarding investing in relationships now so that you will be greeted someday into eternal dwellings. I have a cd of that sermon. I had never heard of Haddon Robinson before that sermon in 2005 but God has enriched my life so much through his teaching and preaching in the past 4 years. My email address is bob@builderbobs.com for Deanna Taylor and I will see if I can make a copy or locate additional copies of that sermon and 4 others that were given at a International Gideons convention.

I love the illustration about your encounter with Dr Robinson. I met him at Duncan Park Baptist Church in the late 80's while a student at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga. I knew of him, of course, Biblical Preaching was one of my favorite textbook on homilitics. He signed my copy...But the impact on me as a young bleack male, Haitian-born, was more than I can describe. His sermons are now imbedded in my mind and in my preaching. I make no apology for butchering his sermons, but the Truth as he delivered them with oratorical style, educated and fully led by the Holy Spirit was given to me to translate to others to see the truths of God so that they may know Christ the one visible to my heart and soul.
